St. Herimon is mentioned in the Palladian book Lawsayik and in the alphabetical Patericus, his cave being twelve furlongs from the water; according to the legend, he was found sitting and holding his handcraft in his hands, for he died at work. This Saint Herimon is also mentioned by St. Theodoros Studius in the Triad of Fasting 1, on the Saturday cheese in the canon for the morning, in the sixth song 2.
