The memory of Saint Serapion

Saint Serapion lived in the time of King Severus I and was a pious and virtuous man. Taken by Prince Aquila and asked about his faith, Serapion confessed himself a Christian and boldly glorified the true God; therefore, he was subjected to various tortures, and then thrown into the fire and thus ended his life.
