The Cathedral of St. Gabriel the Archangel
The memory of the 13th of July of the Annunciator of our salvation, the great servant of God and joyful messenger to the Blessed Virgin Mary (Luke 1:26), the Archangel Gabriel we praise in hymns, composing for him the second time a festive council.
The fourth voice, the throbbing.
Tropare, voice four, Archstrategy of the heavenly armies, we pray with your prayers that you may cover us with the roof of your wings, the unfathomable glory of your glory, keeping us from falling down, and crying out: deliver us from the calamity, as the prince of the higher powers.
Condak, second voice.
God's glory in the heavens, and on earth from above, giving grace, chief of angels wise Gabriel, glory of God to the servant, and the world divine defender, save, observe the crying you: himself be a helper, and no one else for now. God's Archimandrite, servant of divine glories, chief of angels and people's mentor, ask us for useful things, and great mercy, as a careless archimandrite.
The memory of St. Stephen Savvait
Our reverend father Stephen was born in 725 A.D. At the age of ten, he entered the laurel of St. Sava and until his death in 794 A.D., St. Stephen lived either in this monastery or in the nearby desert, which is why he is called Savoyite. St. Stephen performed many signs and wonders, foreseeing, among other things, his death.
The memory of Saint Serapion
Saint Serapion lived in the time of the king of the North 1 and was a pious and virtuous man. Taken by Prince Aquila and asked about his faith, Serapion confessed himself a Christian and boldly glorified the true God; therefore, he was subjected to various tortures, and then thrown into the fire and thus ended his life 2 .
The life of St. Julian .
St. Julian (known by some as Simon the Leper, mentioned in the Gospel (Matthew 26:6) and who changed Simon's name to Julian in baptism), was appointed bishop by the supreme Apostle Peter and sent by him to Gaul to preach the word of God.
The Passion of the Holy Martyr Marcian
The holy martyr Markianus, when still a youth, was seized and tortured in Iconium, and then brought to the governor Perennius, who courageously denounced Perennius for his pagan wickedness, and confessed Christ as God and Lord.
